Her name, “Joy,” says it all!
Joy Brown has been referred to as “a program planner’s dream.”
As an author and speaker, she desires to help lead people into
a meaningful relationship and joyful fellowship with Jesus Christ.
Joy and her husband, Wayne Brown, served in various churches for 40 years,
including First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for 15 years.
In 2008, they moved back to Myrtle Beach after serving for five years as pastor
of First Baptist Church in Boone, North Carolina.
They established Diversified Ministries for outreach in missions and evangelism.
They also have enjoyed interim pastorates:
Pleasant Meadow Baptist Church of Loris, South Carolina;

and they currently are ministering at

The Browns have two daughters, Meri Beth (married to Thomas Howard)
and Molly (married to Christman Howard), and three grandchildren on earth
and two they will meet one day in heaven.
Joy beams as she talks about her “little loves,”
Ty (13), Mazi Grace (13), and Bronson (11).
Joy’s messages are biblically-based and inspirational,
with a strong emphasis on the Hebrew context of the New Testament scriptures.
She longs to see revival sweep across the world,
beginning in the hearts of believers and awakening churches.
Joy writes and teaches extensively on biblical nutrition and its application for today’s world.
